Writing Prompts
Writing Prompts
Writer’s block. Two of the most dreaded words for writers. Right up there with rejection letters and “closed to submissions.” Hop on over the to the blog for the NWA NANO WRIMO group and check out where to find some writing prompts, and some ideas for getting out of a slump.
Alternative endings and stuff
So we are working on something which will not be published elsewhere than here for free.
Kryos is not a bad book per se, but it is written by inexperienced us years ago, and also it leaves a lot of room for improvement, and I wanted to fix those holes a little, with alternative endings (no secret I always hated the ending we were asked to make instead of the one it originally had) and filler scenes, it’s just a pet project and we have no time horizon on this, nor any direction.

WordPress Word-Camp July 2017 Fayetteville, AR
Things I learned at Camp!
I went to my first Word-Camp this past weekend, and boy did I learn a lot. One of the things I learned is that I should not cross post by putting the exact same content on this blog and Emotional Minefield!

Our Project Characters: Part II
The final three are ones that Rikke did most of the development on, but we both get to play with the full cast.
Progress!
I did finally finish the first draft of a story I started back in November!
This one is about a Siren preying on an artist who is desperately trying to mend his broken heart after his partner dies by suicide, but who can he trust? The place is rife with ghost, and secrets! Features Kolby, Otis, Seth, and Alex with a brief appearance by Junior.

Our Project Characters
I thought it might be helpful to post something about each of the characters that we are going to be using in this series of stories we are writing. The characters will vary depending on the story, but there are some characteristics that will stay pretty much the same no matter which of is writing or what is going on.
I will start with the three I developed the most:
First character interview – Kolby Byrd
Rikke mentioned the interviews in one of her posts. I am just now getting around to posting it now. This first one is Kolby Byrd.
vlog: Intro and first try at a vlog
Like the title says, this is my first attempt at a vlog. The sites I mention in the video are here:
