Artificial apocalypse.

Artemisia vulgaris.

post-apocalypse-5924

So my 12 year old daughter and I took a walk the other day, and she was telling me about this dream she had. In her defence she is watching the walking dead, and I do not believe in censorship of fictive shows or movies.

Well my daughter told me about this dream which went something like this; it was the zombie apocalypse and the main person was an android, but didn’t know it himself. He only found out because he was bit by a zombie.

I think this is a GREAT idea to work from! I asked her if I could borrow her idea to write it, and she was a little surprised that I thought her dream sounded like something that could be a story. They know I write, but never read anything I made. In the end she told me  that I could have her idea, but…

Alternative endings and stuff

So we are working on something which will not be published elsewhere than here for free.

Kryos is not a bad book per se, but it is written by inexperienced us years ago, and also it leaves a lot of room for improvement, and I wanted to fix those holes a little, with alternative endings (no secret I always hated the ending we were asked to make instead of the one it originally had) and filler scenes, it’s just a pet project and we have no time horizon on this, nor any direction.

A little of everything we write – Vlog by Anne & Rikke

First off we are really sorry the audio is this bad, we were not aware that the mic ought to have been closer to our faces. Also we had to record this late in the evening/night because we simply ran out of time before Anne had to return to her own continent. 😉 This is also the reason why we chose to struggle with subtitles to hopefully make it watch-able, because we cannot make a take two.  In the future we will see what we can make happen with Skype and recording it, but for how, this was the first attempt at us trying to make sense, falling down from sleep deprivation.

The story I was talking about is already up here on the blog, the werewolf story. (the post before this)

Son of the Moon. [first sample chapter]

This is a free sample chapter of our upcoming book Phantasms. Contact info and disclaimer at the end of the post. Every chapter in the book concludes it self, so this is a complete short story.

The story is about some boys who plays a prank that goes horribly wrong. (okay I was always rubbish with blurbs)

It’s written for young adults, there is nothing too graphic in it.

You can also download it as a PDF, sorry – no clue how to create a mobi file.
